What changes
the price
Property size sets the tier, and for most London houses that is accurate enough to quote from without a site visit. A small number of things can move a quote outside the standard tiers.
Everything included,

Every survey — regardless of price tier — includes the same professional standard of service. No upsells, no extras.
Drone survey cost: common questions
How much does a drone roof survey cost?
A drone roof survey on a standard house costs between £179 and £279. A 1–2 bedroom property starts at £179, a three-bedroom at £199, a four-bedroom at £249 and a five-bedroom or larger at £279.
That is the full cost. There is no separate charge for the flight, the report, the travel or the turnaround, and the price is confirmed in writing before anything is booked.
How much does a drone roof survey cost in London?
The same as anywhere else in the coverage area — from £179 for a 1–2 bedroom property up to £279 for five bedrooms or more. There is no London surcharge and no travel charge.
Is a drone roof survey cheaper than scaffolding?
Substantially, in most cases. With a traditional roof inspection the drone is rarely the expensive part — access is. Scaffolding, a tower or a powered platform has to be hired, erected, inspected and removed before anyone has looked at a single tile, and that cost applies whether or not a defect is found. A drone survey removes that line from the job entirely.
The second saving is less obvious and usually larger. A homebuyer report or a builder’s quote will often flag a roof as needing attention without anyone having seen it close up, because seeing it close up was too expensive to justify. Knowing the roof needs a few hundred pounds of repair rather than a five-figure replacement is worth considerably more than the survey.
What does the price include?
Everything — the on-site drone flight, full aerial inspection, high-resolution imagery of the whole roof, a written report with defects graded A–E and remedial steps set out, and digital delivery within 24 hours. There are no additional charges or hidden fees.
Are there any extra costs I should expect?
No. The price quoted before booking is the price invoiced. Travel, image processing, the report and delivery are all included. The only time a price differs from the tiers above is where a property is commercial, multi-unit, listed or sits in restricted airspace, and in those cases you are told the full cost before anything is booked.
What if my property doesn’t fit a category?
Get in touch and describe the property, or send a postcode. You will be given a fixed price, or a custom quote for unusual, listed or commercial buildings, before any booking is made.
Do you charge differently for commercial properties?
Yes. Residential pricing applies to standard domestic properties. Commercial buildings, large apartment blocks and development sites are quoted individually, since roof area and access complexity vary far more widely.
How long does the survey take, and how soon can I book?
The flight itself takes under an hour on a typical residential property. Most surveys are booked within the same week and often within 48 hours, and the completed report is delivered within 24 hours of the visit in PDF and digital format.
When do I pay?
Payment is due after your survey is completed and before the report is released. An invoice is sent by email, and bank transfer and major debit and credit cards are accepted.
Get a fixed price for your roof survey
Send a postcode and a rough description of the property and you will have a firm price back, usually within 2 hours. Most surveys can be booked for the same week.
